Emily Liang, Intern
Emily Liang is an Aquaculture and Marine Resource Management Masters student at Wageningen University and Research in the Netherlands. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Emily is thankful to have ethnic roots in Taiwan where some of the most delicious food in the world resides. The spontaneous enrollment in an introductory course on Marine Biology, outside her degree curriculum, got Emily hooked on the wonders of the marine life. Since then, Emily spent a year working on an organic farm before returning to academia to pursue her Masters. She hopes to become a creative advocate for sustainablity, with a focus on ocean-human issues.
